Exactly eight weeks after I had the locomotive extensions deployed for the first time, I was back at Quincy to update my "no-obligation locomotives". After she actually twirled my hair in a jiffy, she created this hairstyle. I have to say that I was extremely happy with these updo locs.
I have always admired these kinds of hairstyles and I never thought I could wear them myself because you need long adult dreadlocs for this. It really took some getting used to, but I felt like a true queen. The power of dreadlocks. Now I really understand why those women always look so regal.
Because the new hair growth has been adjusted, you can no longer see that the locs are not real. The transition from my hair to the extension is almost invisible.
Decorated with Cowrie Shells for a slightly different look.
The care is super easy. That is why these extensions are also called locs without commitment or locs without commitment. Where when starting real locs you really have to have a lot of patience in the initial phase to get the hair to curl nicely and well, you don't have to worry about that at all with these extensions.
The only thing you have to guard against is the accumulation of dirt and product residue. That means that you should not use conditioners and such that leave residues. Stick to natural shampoos and pure oils.
The only products I've used between the acts are the Scalp Conditioning Spray used to care for the scalp and also the Herbal Shampoo to wash my hair. Always apply the scalp conditioning oil after washing.
Now I hope you too can choose the perfect hairstyle for the holidays. I wish you an incredibly happy holidays and a fantastic 2010!
